Một ví dụ cụ thể trong thực tế mà có thể bạn sẽ gặp phải: Mỗi phòng ban đều có một Server chứa dữ liệu chia sẻ riêng, tuy nhiên các phòng ban đều có nhu cầu truy cập tới dữ liệu chia sẻ trên phòng ban khác. Khi đó, mọi người sẽ gặp khó khăn khi phải nhớ rằng dữ liệu nằm trên Server nào. Nhưng với DFS tất cả sẽ chỉ cần nhớ một tên duy nhất để có thể “link” tới những thư mục chia sẻ khác…..
Cấu hình DFS trên Windows Server 2008
*Mục tiêu*
-Trên máy DC08-01: cài đặt và cấu hình DFS
-Trên máy SRV08-01: tạo thư mục chia sẻ ProjectDocs
-Trên máy SRV08-02: tạo thư mục chia sẻ Picture
Cài đặt dịch vụ DFS thực hiện trên máy DC (BKNP-DC08-01)
Start > Programs > Administrative Tools > Server Manager.
Tại cửa sổ “Server Manager”, chọn Roles > chọn Add Roles
Tại cửa sổ “Before You Begin”, chọn Next.
Tại cửa sổ “Select Server Roles”, chọn File Services > chọn Next.
Tại cửa sổ “Select Role Services”, chọn Distributed File System, chọn Next.
Tại cửa sổ “Create a DFS Namespace”, chọn Create a namespace now,using this wizard , nhập Namespace: Data > chọn Next
Tại cửa sổ “Select Namespace Type”, chọn Next.
Tại cửa sổ “Configure Namespace”, chọn Next.
Tại cửa sổ “Confirm Installation Selections”, chọn Install.
Tại cửa sổ “Installation Progress”, Quá trình cài đặt diễn ra
Tại cửa sổ “Installation Results”, chọn Close để kết thúc quá trình cài đặt
Thực hiện tạo thư mục ProjectDocs nằm trong ổ C trên máy BKNP-SRV08-01
Cài đặt dịch vụ DFS trên 2 Server BKNP-SRV08-01 và BKNP-SRV08-02
Start > Administrative Tools > Server Manager
Tại cửa sổ “Server Manager” chọn Roles, chọn Add Roles.
Tại cửa sổ “Before You Begin”, chọn Next.
Tại cửa sổ “Select Server Roles”, chọn File Servies, chọn Next.
Tại cửa sổ “Select Role Services”, chọn Distributed File System, chọn Next.
Tại cửa sổ “Create a DFS Namespace”, chọn Create a namespace later using the DFS Management snap-in in Server Manager > chọn Next.
Tại cửa sổ “Confirm Installation Selections”, chọn Install để thực hiện quá trình cài đặt
Tại cửa sổ “Installation Progress”, quá trình cài đặt diễn ra
Tại cửa sổ “Installation Results”, chọn Close để kết thúc quá trình cài đặt
Cấu hình dịch vụ DFS trên máy BKNP-SRV08-01
Start > Programs > Administrative Tools > DFS Manager
Tại cửa sổ “DFS Manager”, chuột phải vào \\bknpower.vn\Data chọn New Folder…
Tại cửa sổ “New Folder”, chọn Add…
Tại cửa sổ “Add Folder Target”, nhấn Browse….
Tại cửa sổ “Browse for Shared Folder” > chọn Browse…
Tại cửa sổ “Sclect Computer”, chọn Advanced…
Tại cửa sổ “Select Computer”, chọn Find Now, chọn máy BKNP-SRV08-01, chọn OK
Tại cửa sổ “Select Computer”, chọn OK
Tại cửa sổ “Browse for Shared Folders”, chọn New Shared Folder…
Tạ cửa sổ “Create Share”, chọn Browse…
Tại cửa sổ “Browse For Folder”, chọn thư mục ProjectDocs > chọn OK
Tại cửa sổ “Create Share”, chọn User custom permissions > chọn Customize…
Tại cửa sổ “Permissions for Share”, trong phần Permissions for Everyone > chọn Full Control > chọn OK
Tại cửa sổ “Create Share”, trong ô Share name: nhập tên thư mục ProjectDocs > OK
Tại cửa sổ “Browse for Shared Folders”, chọn ProjectDocs
Tại cửa sổ “Add Folder Target”, chọn OK
Tại cửa sổ “New Folder”, chọn OK
Cấu hình thư mục Picture như phần ProjectDosc
Đứng trên máy Client (BKNP-WRK-01), truy cập \\bknpower.vn\Data
